Safety and Privacy Policy
Player Safety
The regulations of the Swedish Bandy Association clearly stipulate safety distances between the ice surface and fixed objects in the arena to minimize the risk of injury. Serwenthallen complies with these regulations with a wide margin:
Side lines: The Association requires at least 1 meter of ice surface and 1 meter of anti-slip protection before fixed objects. We have chosen to exceed these requirements to further enhance safety.
Behind the goal line: The regulations require 4 meters of ice surface and 3 meters of anti-slip protection. Here too, Serwenthallen provides greater safety distances than required.
To further protect players, all pillars behind the goal line are covered with both tires and soft protective padding, reducing the risk of injury in the event of collisions. Along the side lines, all edges – including those on the players’ benches – are covered with semi-rigid or soft protection, even though the benches are already located well beyond the recommended safety distances.
Fire Safety
Serwenthallen is equipped with modern fire safety and voice evacuation systems to ensure the safety of all visitors:
Fire alarm: The arena is fitted with an advanced fire alarm system.
Voice evacuation system: In the event of an emergency, a voice evacuation system is activated in both Swedish and English, providing clear instructions to all visitors.
Emergency exits: There are 11 emergency exits as well as a large gate to enable quick and safe evacuation. With a maximum capacity of 1,000 visitors and an open layout, the level of fire safety is considered very high.
Fire extinguishers: Fire extinguishers are available at each emergency exit and are easily accessible if needed.
Media & Camera Coverage
The bandy match is subject to media and camera coverage, which may involve the collection of personal data in the form of still images, video footage and audio recordings. The material may be used by press, TV and other media or on social networks. The arena’s internal and local production may also include appearances on the media cube, TV screens and social platforms.
